Fringe 5 Questions by Carlynn Wolfe
Who inspires you?
I’m inspired by anyone who works hard to get what they want: The single parent trying to feed his/ her children, the unemployed person who spends hours a day looking for work, anyone who spends hours pursuing their dreams.
What do you remember most about Hilo?
The beauty of both the scenery and the people. I mostly remember the big Banyan trees.
Where do you call home?
The Big Island, specifically Honoka’a and Waimea (Kamuela).
When did you first start performing?
I was in my first play at 7. I belonged to The Hilo Community Players, and I starred as Martin in a play called Torko The Terrible. My step-dad wrote the music.
Why Fringe?
Why not? It allows me to travel, and inspire and touch people all over the country. And soon the world.
