Information for Volunteers
Aloha, and thank you for your interest in being an Oʻahu Fringe Festival volunteer! By joining us, you are joining a fun global family of FRINGE artists and hardworking support staff — all of whom have a few things in common. We’ve got a passion for nurturing new ideas and every form of creative expression. We’re willing to do things a little differently, and keep an open mind to even the strangest ideas. Fringe Festivals are born from passion and hard work; but they can also be where the stars of the future are made.
Our volunteers come from all over - most are Hawaii residents, but some travel to O’ahu to be a part of our Fringe Festival! It’s a great opportunity to see the island, and connect with like-minded creatives. Plus, there’s PERKS, like swag, parties just for staff, special Fringe Staff & Performer VIP lounges, and free/discounted show admission.
If you’d like to be a volunteer at Fringe, whether as a stage manager, a ticket-taker at the door, a coordinator, or just a jack/jill of all trades, we’d love to hear from you!
