Greetings! We’re back!
It’s been some time since we posted…but let us explain — the Fringe management team went through some big changes in the final months of 2022, and we didn’t have the staff needed in order to produce the event in 2023 or 2024.
Thankfully we were able to produce a Fringe in 2022 and pick back up again earlier this year, in the spring of 2025!
We are back in action now and looking forward to the second installment of 2025’s programming: planetFRINGE which is a collaboration with Climate Change Action Theatre that promotes performances centered on the stewardship and celebration of ‘āina, along with awareness of ecological concerns. We hope this version of our Fringe festival will spark conversations about our rapidly evolving environment and foster knowledge, action, and resources for preserving our one and only Planet Earth.
Please scope out pictures from 2022’s Fringe festival here & those from spring 2025 here.
We look forward to seeing you — either as a performer, collaborator, or spectator — in fall for planetFRINGE!

Mahalo for Being a Part of miniFRINGE 2021!
HUGE MAHALO to everyone involved in Oʻahu miniFRINGE this year, from those of you who supported local artists by buying tickets, to the talented individuals who brought us joy by sharing their songs, dances, and stories, to our volunteers who kept every show running! We love you all, and couldn't ask for a better ʻohana as the performing arts return to Hawaiʻi. Stay tuned for Oʻahu Fringe Festival in November 2022!

Please Allow Us to Introduce Ourselves
Aloha Mai Kākou!
We wanted to wish you all a slightly early Happy International Fringe Day, follow up on Misa’s recent post, and introduce ourselves as the new O‘ahu Fringe team.

Passing the Torch
Aloha, I sincerely hope this message finds you all in very good health.
Moving on is never easy, but now it is the right time for me to say goodbye to the Oʻahu Fringe Festival. Soon the reins will be handed over to a wonderful group of people who will now lead Fringe on its new journey.

Mahalo for Supporting Fringe 2019
Fringe 2019 is all pau. A short season of Fringe but one full of joy, all thanks to you. Yes, many thanks to everyone and for literally supporting our artists. Without you, we could not have done this. Your support and participation was massive.
