Please Allow Us to Introduce Ourselves
Aloha Mai Kākou!
We wanted to wish you all a slightly early Happy International Fringe Day, follow up on Misa’s recent post, and introduce ourselves as the new O‘ahu Fringe team.
First, many thanks to Misa, the founder of Oʻahu Fringe, for shepherding the festival through its first decade. We’re so grateful to him for everything he’s done, and for trusting us to carry the Fringe forward into the future. Mahalo to many of you as well, for donating, performing, and working behind the scenes on Fringe. We look forward to collaborating with you!
This year, we plan to offer a miniFRINGE on November 4th, 5th, and 6th. It will consist of a few hand-selected venues and a smaller line-up of local performers. In 2022, we’ll plan for a regular Fringe Festival, which we hope to present in collaboration with Maui Fringe and the Big Island’s Aloha Theater. Stay tuned for updates here, and on our Instagram (@oahufringe) and website (oahufringe.com).
We’re very excited to begin the next phase of this journey, and look forward to having you along for the ride!
