Howdy folks…we are still here, even though it may feel like we’re MIA…finding a new venue to host our 2026 Fringe Festival has been trying. But we’re not giving up!

We are still hoping to bring you an amazing festival this fall, and are striving towards securing a new venue.

As some of you may know, our beloved venue, Arts at Marks, an absolute staple in the Honolulu performing arts scene for decades, had to shutter it’s doors.

They are also looking to potentially reopen elsewhere, but things are still very much in the air for them at the moment too.

In the meantime, we are exhausting all of our connections and resources to find a suitable venue. The second we have, you will know!

Once that occurs, we will reopen the performer application portal but still feature all of the artists whose applications were already accepted earlier this year.

Send us your good vibes! We haven’t given up and truly look forward to bringing the island of O’ahu another smashing year of quirkiness, oddities, fringiness, fabulousness, and more!

planetFRINGE 2025 is near!

We’ve got an exciting event on the near horizon: planetFRINGE 2025!!!

This will be our maiden production of a fall installment for the O’ahu Fringe Fest and we look forward to further developing this concept as the years continue.

This year the event will be digital and viewable on our Youtube channel starting 11/10/25. Please check back on that date for a live link to watch the event.

We look forward to sharing this new addition to our Fringe Fest lineup with you all!

Greetings! We’re back!

It’s been some time since we posted…but let us explain — the Fringe management team went through some big changes in the final months of 2022, and we didn’t have the staff needed in order to produce the event in 2023 or 2024.

Thankfully we were able to produce a Fringe in 2022 and pick back up again earlier this year, in the spring of 2025!

We are back in action now and looking forward to the second installment of 2025’s programming: planetFRINGE which is a collaboration with Climate Change Action Theatre that promotes performances centered on the stewardship and celebration of ‘āina, along with awareness of ecological concerns. We hope this version of our Fringe festival will spark conversations about our rapidly evolving environment and foster knowledge, action, and resources for preserving our one and only Planet Earth.
